Who we are

On August 20th 1987. the Japan Peru Center for Earthquake Engineering and Disaster Mitigation started its research and academic activities, with the opening of the Geotechnical Lab and the Administrative division on CISMID Campus. Later on 1987 the facilities of the structural Lab started its construction under the cooperation and support of the Japanese Government by the Japan International Cooperation Agency as Project Cooperation type. Twenty years has passed and CISMID has been growing as a Research Center and we want to celebrate our 20th anniversary with this International Conference.
